Studio229 - "Project: Firestorm"

Project: Firestorm became the test bed for doing interactive content in VR that would run as an interstitial advertisement. Using the Unreal Engine, we set out to create a narrative piece that would tell a linear story in an ad context, giving the viewer a chance to have presence within the story itself instead of just watching. The viewer was immersed in a vivid lava planet with a spaceship pilot frantically giving you directions while an alien artifact powered up. This project became our 'calling card' for interactive VR content.
